Wednesday August 10, 1941 Sheboygan Press: Attend Rites for Relative Carl Larsen New Holstein: Mr. and Mrs. John Bierman attended the funeral services for the latters uncle, Carl Larsen, which were held last Wednesday at the Danish Lutheran church in Askov, Minn. The Rev. M Mikkelsen officiated and interment was in the Askov cemetery. Deceased was born March 8, 1860 in Denmark and came to the United States in 1882. He located in Charlestown, north of this city, where on October 18, 1884 he was married to Miss Anna Williams. Since 1919 the couple lived in Askov and Jackson, Minn. Mrs. Larsen preceded him in death January 2, 1936, and since that time he made his home with his children. He was a brother-in-law of John Gisch of Sheboygan Falls and Adam Willems of Kiel. Survivors include two sons, Charles and Nick of Askov, a daughter, Mrs. C. Johnson of Jackson; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, a brother Nick, in Waukegan, Ill., and a sister in Denmark.


Carl married Anna Williams, daughter of Johannes Gerhardt Willems and Klara Mayer, on Oct 18, 1884 in Charlestown, Calumet, Wisconsin, USA.
