Sheboygan Press Saturday July 19, 1958 Anson Barber Funeral services for Anson Barber, 68, of 1220 Erie Ave., who died suddenly at his home late Friday morning, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. t. Parry Jones, pastor of First Methodist Church will officiate. Burial is to be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Plymouth. Mr. Barber, who had been forced to retire from the painting trae by a stroke in 1950 was a native of the town of Plymouth. A son of the late John and Julia Barber, he was born July 4, 1890. He attended district school in the town. On June 7, 1911, he married Miss Katherine Thalheim, also of Town Plymouth, at New Holstein. Following marriage the couple lived in Manitowoc for several years where Mr. Barber was employed as a machinist in the shipyard there. Later he became a painter, working mostly in the Sheboygan area. The couple had been living here since Mr. Barbers illness. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Ervin, R. 3, Sheboygan; and Howard, Sheboygan; one daughter, Mrs. Toby Zinkgraf (Viola) Plymouth, and six grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Harry, Sheboygan Falls, and a sister Miss Mary Barber, Madison
