(nee Herzing), 55 of Belleville, IL, born August 26, 1950 in Breese, IL, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Knola (nee Haas) Herzing; a brother, Raymond 'Bud' Herzing; a brother-in-law, Don Schubert and a father-in-law, Albert Tylka Sr.. She is survived by her loving husband, Theodore "Ted' A. Honer, Jr., one son, David (Becky) Honer of Swansea, IL; one daughter, Tracy (Tim) Winter of St. Louis, MO. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and Cancer Society. Services: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2006 at VALHALLA HOLTEN Funeral Home in Belleville, IL. Funeral procession will leave Valhalla Holten Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's Cathedral in Belleville, IL, with Father Matthew Elie officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL."

She was also very active with Curves. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Knola, nee Haas, Herzing; a brother, Raymond Herzing; a brother in law, Don Schubert, and a father-in-law, Albert Tylka Sr. She is survived by her loving and cherished husband, Theodore A. (Virginia) Honer Sr. of Belleville, Ill., a mother-in-law, Elsie (Robert) Schilling of Valmeyer, Ill.; four brothers-in-laws, Albert (Annette) Tylka of Edwardsville, Ill., John (Millie) Tylka of Swansea, Ill., Jim (Bev) Tylka of Fairview Heights, Ill., and David (Karen) Tylka of Imperial, Mo.; three sister-in-laws, Theresa Herzing of New Baden, Ill., Mary (Gary) Popp of Millstadt, Ill., and Linda (Ed) Ott of Belleville, Ill.; and seven loving grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Adam, Allison, Samuel, Emily and Anna . . ."
